Services
We provide a full continuum of services and supports based upon each student's needs as determined by their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Services May Include:
Parent/Infant Services: Deaf and hard of hearing children from birth through 2 years of age are served by a Certified Teacher of the Deaf. The service is coordinated with an Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program.
Itinerant Services: Certified Teachers of the Deaf travel to provide students with direct and/or consult services in their home school district.
Cluster Site Services: DHH classrooms are designed to educate students who require intensive and individualized academic instruction due to their significant communication and language deficits by a Certified Teacher of the Deaf. In addition, the full-time site setting may meet social and emotional needs. RDSPD cluster site locations are located in Beaumont ISD.
Additional Services Based on IEP Needs: Sign Language Interpreting, Speech and Language Therapy, Counseling as Related Service, Audiological Services, Audiological Management, and/or Assistive Technology
